Getting Started: Gluten-Free in 1,2,3 Course

Do you have a child who was recently diagnosed, or do you want to learn more about celiac disease and the gluten-free diet? We are so excited to announce the launch of an online course Getting Started: Gluten-Free in 1,2,3. This course is packed with everything you need to know about celiac disease and the gluten-free diet. In addition, there are many downloadable materials and infographics. Note: this course may only be viewed on a computer.

The Getting Started: GF in 1, 2, 3 course is divided into three easy steps:

  1. Understanding Celiac Disease

This first step explains what celiac disease is, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, complications, and follow-up, as well as other gluten-related conditions.

  1. The Gluten-Free Diet

This step explains what gluten is, what grains and foods are allowed and not allowed, questionable ingredients, label regulations and how to read the label to determine if a food is gluten-free.

  1. Living Gluten-Free

While having celiac disease or non-celiac gluten sensitivity does not define a person, living strictly gluten-free has to become a way of life. This step will help you to navigate daily life gluten-free including sharing a kitchen, eating out, travel, school and more.
