This is a great 100 percent gluten-free Italian restaurant. If you are in the mood for pasta or pizza, then this will be right up your alley. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and is a great date night place.
If you want to order a meal on-line, you can find this restaurant on GrubHub for delivery right to your hotel or apartment.
At Tap NYC the meals are focused around the Brazilian ingredient of tapioca. There are sweet or savory tapioca crepes filled with delicious ingredients. Not to mention, this is a 100 percent gluten-free establishment.
This is a great choice for breakfast or a light lunch. If you haven’t eaten tapioca before, you should try it out in New York.
A New York trip would not be complete without a bagel. This 100 percent gluten-free shop is owned by an inspiring woman who perfected the gluten-free bagel for her husband who has celiac. You can dine in or take-out on a busy day.
You can also purchase sweets, like the chocolate babka. I couldn’t resist thinking about the episode on Seinfeld where Jerry steals a woman’s chocolate babka for George.

Gluten-Free Bakeries in New York
Now moving onto the amazing treats that you can find all over New York. Everyone needs to indulge once and a while, especially when you are on vacation. While there are many different gluten-free bakeries, here are just a few for you check out.
As always, I recommend pre-ordering items to have in your hotel or apartment for snacks and to take with you while you sight-see this bustling city. Bakeries can sell out of items by the end of the day, so either go early in the morning or pre-order and pickup when it is ready.
This is a fabulous 100 percent gluten-free bakery where everything is vegan and soy-free. If you or your family have allergies, you will be in heaven at all the options here.
While you can get some great cookies, donuts, cupcakes, muffins and cakes, you can even pick up some frosty soft serve for a cool treat.
The original No GLU store was based in Paris and after renowned success there, they crossed the pond to open a store in New York.
The best part of this 100 percent gluten-free bakery is that you can stop in for lunch or grab take-away along with a sweet. Salads, quiches and sandwiches are great options for lunch.
If macaroons are what you are after, Dana’s Bakery is the place for you. You may pamper yourself with gluten-free macaroons all day long.
There are unique flavours that you will love. Cookies and cream and oatmeal chocolate raisin are just amazing.
If you are looking for something other than the traditional cupcakes and cookies, you can stop by and pick up some chocolate hamantaschen. They are creamy chocolate-filled pastries that are delicious.
