Braintree, MA Monthly Meeting ~ Summer Location
July 23 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
One event on August 27, 2019 at 7:00 pm
The Braintree Thayer Public Library where we meet closes an hour earlier throughout the summer until after Labor Day, and our 7pm meetings would have to be cut short.
So we are fortunate to be able, once again, to hold our summer meetings at the Braintree Gilbert Bean Historical Resource Center a/k/a “The Barn”. The address is 31 Tenney Road, Braintree, just around the corner from the library (directions/parking info below). It’s a nice spacious room with plenty of seating and table space.
*** You can Google or use the following directions:
Turn onto the short road (“Washington Park”) along the left side of the library and you will quickly reach a little rotary.
You may see a sign for Tenney Road at the rotary, but be sure you go around and take the third right off the rotary to get to the “barn”.
If the lot in front of the Barn is full, you have a few choices for parking: at the library lot, or along the side street, or across from the library in the town hall parking lot. If walking from one of those lots, just walk back up to the rotary and turn left onto Tenney Road. You can’t miss the Barn. (It’s a residential area and a safe, quick walk)
When you enter the building, you will go up a long ramp type corridor, and at the end there’s a glass door on the right to the meeting room.
