NCA Livingston, NJ Virtual Support Group Meeting
May 20 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Virtual Celiac Disease & Gluten Free Support Group Meeting: The 5 Common Mistakes in Finding a Safe College for Your Gluten-Free Student
There is a lot of work and research necessary to get the real picture of how well a college can accommodate our gluten-free kids. To offer advice, Andrea Tucker, a health educator, celiac advocate, host of the Gluten Free News Podcast and parent of a gluten-free teen, will join us at our May meeting. Andrea is also the founder of Gluten Free College 101 Group and creator of GF College 101 Online Course.
This virtual group, led by NCA’s Local Partner leader, Michelle Pasia, MPH, RDN, who is the Program Coordinator of The Kogan Celiac Center, for those with celiac disease or gluten sensitivity as well as their loved ones. It is designed to share and learn about what is new in the gluten-free world through conversation, recipes, tip exchanges and educational presentations. Gluten free is always a family issue so feel free to invite your family members.
Advanced online registration is required. Once registered, you will receive a link to the email you register with to join the meeting. You can join with audio and video or audio only. You will need to have access to GoToMeeting, and by joining the meeting you consent to being a part of the virtual support group with audio and video capabilities.
