Help For Hurricanes!
Thank you for your generosity in helping the National Celiac Association (NCA) get gluten-free food to people in Texas who have been affected by Hurricane Harvey. Now we are turning our attention to Hurricane Irma and the people in Florida and elsewhere that need help in its wake. Please consider donating to our Hurricane Irma fund below. All donations will be used to get gluten-free food to the affected areas. The Hurricane Harvey fund also remains open.
Who Is This Task Force?
NCA is part of a Gluten Free Disaster Relief Task Force, formed in the past weeks for the purpose of getting gluten-free food to those who need it most. The Task Force consists of hospital celiac centers, nonprofit organizations, support groups and community leaders across the nation who are encouraging monetary donations and facilitating gluten-free and allergy-friendly product donations to food banks in the areas impacted by Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma.
If you are a food company and interested in donating products that are gluten-free, non-perishable, and shelf stable for at least 6 months, please contact Nicola Harrington, Director of the Gluten-Free Food Bank who will guide you to the food banks willing to receive the food. firstname.lastname@example.org or phone: 1888-4-CELIAC ext.2 / 1888-4-235422 ext. 2)
