The Celiac and Allergy Friendly Food Initiative (CAFFI) is a nonprofit organization, established by two Stow residents, Amy Adams and Lisa Herman. The Celiac and Allergy Friendly Food Initiative works in partnership with Portage County Family and Community Services in order to have space to store food and to distribute food through Summit and Portage County Food Pantries.
The Celiac and Allergy Friendly Food Initiative will have one pantry date for April. It will be on April 2nd at 1357 Home Ave. Akron. We will have an am pickup from 10:00-12:00 and a pm pickup from 1:00-3:00. If you would like to come to this pantry, please call (330) 603-7644 or email caffi@allergyfriendlyfood.org to let us know if you would like a morning or afternoon pickup. We ask that you stay in your car in the parking lot and call us when you arrive. We will bring your food out and put it in your trunk.
