H-E-B Creamy Creations Light Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream

H-E-B has issued an all-store recall for half gallon H-E-B Creamy Creations Light Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream due to an undeclared allergen, wheat. The product was sold at H-E-B stores in Texas and Mexico, as well as Mi Tienda stores in Texas. Click here for more information.

Various Nutritional and Beverage Products 

Lyons Magnus LLC is recalling nutritional and beverage products due to the potential for microbial contamination, including from the organism Cronobacter sakazakii. Common symptoms of illness could include fever, vomiting and urinary tract infection. Preliminary root cause analysis shows that the products did not meet commercial sterility specifications. Marutomo Dashi Soup Base

Wismettac Asian Foods, Inc. is recalling 17.6 oz packages of Marutomo Dashi Soup Base because they may contain undeclared wheat and soy. The product was distributed in California and Nevada through restaurants and retail stores. Click here to learn more.

Sweet Loren’s Sugar Cookie Dough 12oz

Sweet Loren’s is recalling a single lot code of Sweet Loren’s Sugar Cookie Dough 12oz, because it may contain traces of gluten in product labeled as gluten free. Sweet Loren’s Sugar Cookie Dough 12oz was distributed in FL, LA, MA, NY, NJ, SC, NC, OR, UT, IL, TX, GA, CA, CO, WA, IN, PA, MD, DC, TN, AL, MI, OH, DC, KY, AR, AK through retail grocery stores. The lot of product recalled is Sweet Loren’s Sugar Cookie Dough 12oz Lot Code AF22 115, Best By Date 12/1/2022. This issue was identified through testing of the product in-house. The oat flour used was determined to have traces of gluten despite having documentation (COA) declaring it to be gluten free. Click here to learn more about this recall.

Ready Dough Pizza Cubana Cuban Style Pepperoni Pizza

Ready Dough Pizza is recalling 10,584 pounds of pepperoni pizza products that were produced without the benefit of federal inspection. Additionally, the product contains milk, wheat, and soybeans, known allergens. Some of the products have no ingredient label and others had the wrong ingredient label. The frozen Cuban-style pepperoni pizza items were produced from Jan. 12, 2022, through July 13, 2022 and were shipped to retail locations in Florida. A selection of baked snack products are being recalled due to the potential presence of hard plastic pieces. Click here to learn more, including exactly which products are affected by this recall. Note: this recall was expanded on July 20, 2022.

Panera at Home Southwest Corn Chowder 

A single lot (lot number 042122-2K and “Use By” date of 6/30/22) of 16 ounce Panera at Home Southwest Corn Chowder is being recalled due to an undeclared wheat allergen. The recalled product may be packaged with a Broccoli Cheddar Lid, and Southwest Corn Chowder cup. This item is only sold in refrigerated cases in the deli department of select retail grocery stores. Pedialyte Strawberry Lemonade Electrolyte Powder

This product is being recalled due to containing undeclared wheat. The 24 oz plastic trays were sold as singles to consumers in WI, TN, MA, NY, IA, WV, OH, PA, VA, KY, NJ, MI, IL, IN, and MN. Click here to learn more.

Distributed in AZ in 6 oz vacuum sealed bags, these products are being recalled because the ingredient list includes teriyaki sauce but does not declare wheat and soy. Click here to learn more.

This product is labeled gluten free but contains barley malt extract. Click here for product photos and to learn more. GF Watchdog has reached out to the supplier, who stated they are looking into the quantity of malt ingredient, but no malt is allowed in GF products.

Bountiful Harvest Originals Shoestring French Fries

This product is being recalled due to containing undeclared wheat. This product was distributed wholesale as a food service item to distributors in CO, AZ, NM, CA, IA, PA, TN, LA, WI, MN, AL and WA. Click here to read the full recall notice.

Jolly Llama Cool Mint Chocolate Chip Sandwiches 

A limited number of Jolly Llama Cool Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Sandwiches, bearing the GFCO certification mark, are being sold with Wheat Flour in the ingredient list. GFCO has spoken with the manufacturer, which states that the products are in fact gluten-free, but are mislabeled. The manufacturer is currently investigating to determine the root cause.
