Bread Mix
- 1 loaf Schar Artisan Bread
- 8 eggs
- 2 cups half & half
- 1 cup milk
- 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- dash salt
- maple syrup
Praline Topping
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp light corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg

Instructions
- Arrange slices of Schar Artisan bread in a generously buttered 9''x13” baking dish in 2 rows, overlapping the slices.
- In a large bowl, combine the eggs, half & half, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt and beat with beater or whisk until blended but not to bubbly.
- Pour mixture over the bread slices, making sure they are covered evenly with the milk-egg mixture. Spoon some of the mixture in between the slices. Cover with foil and refrigerate over night.
- The next day, preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine all ingredients for Praline Topping. Spread topping evenly over the bread and bake for 40 minutes until puffed and lightly golden.
- Serve with maple syrup.
