A timeless recipe shared by my Aunt Eleanor who died so many years ago, but I think of her every time I make this rich and delicious pie.
dark corn syrup
9″ pie crust, blind baked
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Beat eggs. Add corn syrup, brown sugar, and vanilla.
Sift in flour and stir in melted butter. Add pecans.
Place in a 9” round pie pan and bake for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake for about 45 minutes.
