Shrimp and Veggies
  1. Melt butter in pan and sauté vegetables until slightly done, then add garlic for 2 minutes and sprinkle lightly with salt.
  2. Now add GF flour and stir, then add liquid ingredients and spices and stir. Check seasoning.
  3. Then add room temperature shrimp which has been cut in ¼ inch pieces. Cook for 3 more minutes or until shrimp is just done.
Grits
  1. Boil 4 cups water.
  2. Add 1 cup grits to 1 cup cold water and mix together.
  3. Slowly add mixture to boiling water whisking constantly to prevent lumps. Add ½ tsp salt.
  4. Cook on low for 30 minutes, stirring often to prevent sticking, until thickened
To Serve
  1. Serve in large bowls with grits on the bottom, top with shrimp, and garnish with bacon & parsley.
